Biography
Born and raised in Texas, I’ve lived in Nebraska; Vancouver, B.C.; Kansas; California; northern Alberta and now in Calgary. I am married and have two grown sons. My interior life has been important to me throughout childhood to the present time. I bring to my work deep listening, personal sensitivity and a spirit of acceptance. Attending to the still small voice within and helping others do the same remains my focus, whether I’m counselling, facilitating groups, writing, or simply living. In a lighter vein, I like lumpy cream of wheat, earthy jokes and bright colors. My favorite summertime activity is camping and easy hiking in our beautiful Canadian Rockies; in winter, I'm a bookworm and a fair-weather walker.
